The Newton's Fraction is the Club's annually staged road race. It is currently a 1/2 marathon but in the past it has been various other distances. We are also staging the Little Apple 3km fun run on the same day. See the entry forms below for more details.
The race starts and finishes at the South Kesteven Sports Stadium, Trent Road, Grantham. It heads into the country and after 2 miles joins the scenic Grantham-Nottingham canal. After almost 3 miles on the tranquil footpath the race rejoins the road within view of Belvoir Castle. The runner then embarks on the first of 2 testing hills before finishing at the stadium with a lap of the track.
As always, it is hoped the majority of GAC athletes will help marshal instead of competing. If you can help in any way please contact the Fraction Team.
