| 17/12/08 | Beginners We have launched
a new initiative called Beginners club to introduce the complete
beginner to jogging/running. The sessions will take place from
Sainburys' car park at 7pm. They will be led by Robert
McArdle and Grace Plant. Thanks go to Robert for driving forward
this long awaited initiative.

Trudy and Mark are presented their awards for the club's handicapped
Road Race by Beijing Olympics heptalthlete Julie Hollman.

| 24/11/08 | London Marathon The lucky
recipient's of the club's London Marathon guaranteed entries are: Martin
Neal, Algie Audas and Arthur Short. They join Dave Eldridge for the
worlds greatest marathon on 26/4/09.

| 6/11/08 | Presentation night The
Clubs Presentation night takes place at the SK Stadium in the Football
clubs social club on Wednesday 26 November. The guests of honour are:
Julie Hollman and Darrell Bunn. No training on this night.

| 31/10/08 | Joyce Bundy We are pleased to announce Joyce Bundy has accepted the committee's nomination and has agreed to be our new Chairman and President at Wednesday's AGM. |
