Below is the race report which appeared in the 12 November edition of the Grantham Journal. It might be Jon Mitcham of Grantham in 4th place (on right of picture). Fastest runner on the country's roads this year, Steve Kenyon, really lived up to his nickname of the "Bolton Flyer" on Sunday, when he spread-eagled the class field in the very strong Grantham Fireworks Five round the houses race.
